BKG Exchange: Security-First Architecture in a Custody Crisis

Still, a nation-state actor with subpoena power could legally compel the nodes to sign. BKG's response: a proof-of-liveness mechanism that automatically disables the hot wallet if any node fails to respond within 72 hours, triggering a manual recovery process that requires a physical meeting of all 7 operators. Code is law, until it isn't.

BKG Exchange has set a new benchmark for centralized exchange security. The combination of MPC, HSM, and operator bonding creates a layered defense that is audit-friendly and economically aligned. But the real test will come when a determined attacker decides to test the human layer. One unchecked loop, one drained vault—only BKG's operators will determine whether the code holds.
